David Knaack
Financial Advisor
A Wealth of Experience
David joined Baird in January of 2014. He brings more than 25 years of investment industry experience striving to provide his clients with exceptional financial planning. David began his financial career hedging option positions for the largest volume Live Cattle Trader at the CME Group. After gaining direct experience in commodities, Dave advanced with an S&P 500 option trading group and hedged S&P 500 option positions at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Then from 1999 through 2013 David independently traded the S&P 500 futures index which most domestic equity portfolios are benchmarked against. His discipline and risk management skills were attributes to his success along with his handful of employees that worked cohesively as a team. Now as part of the Baird team, David applies this disciplined, consistent approach to financial planning for his clients with the goal to make it simple and easy to understand.
David attended The University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance and Marketing. Dave was also a member of the 1993-1994 Rose Bowl Championship Team at Wisconsin.
Rooted in Traditional Values
David, his wife Alice and children Luke, Laney, Levi, and Logan live in Waunakee, WI. In his free time Dave enjoys supporting the Wisconsin Badgers, coaching his children’s sports, and saltwater fishing.
Shannon Davidson
Financial Advisor
Shannon has practiced in the investment industry for over 25 years. As a financial professional, Shannon provides comprehensive investment planning and portfolio strategy guidance to the individuals and families with whom she works. Areas of particular specialty are risk analysis, helping clients to create long-term plans to preserve and grow their wealth, and creating predictable income streams. Shannon values the long-term relationships she has with her clients and finds it especially rewarding to work with them as they move through different financial stages of their lives.
After growing up in the Chicago area, Shannon graduated from Indiana University and Cardinal Stritch University. A 25 -year resident of Middleton, WI, Shannon enjoys being active in the community. She is a volunteer for Attic Angels, an organization that focuses on improving the lives of children and the elderly, and she also serves on the board for the Wisconsin Council on Children and Families. Favorite hobbies include spending time in her garden, enjoying time with her family, entertaining, biking and reading. Shannon and her husband, Joel, are the parents of five children and also have several pets.
Jennifer Tratnyek
Client Specialist
Jennifer joined Baird in 2024. She has worked in human resources, employee benefits and program management. She brings with her a wealth of administrative, customer service and project management experience, and a strong desire to provide excellent service to our clients. She has a particular interest in financial, estate and legacy planning. She is fully licensed, having completed the SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 exams.
She has an undergraduate degree from Wellesley College, and a Master of Music degree in vocal performance from Boston University. She uses her vocal talent as a member of the Festival Choir of Madison. She is also a member of the Madison Area Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America, where she has served as past President and past Program Chair.
Raymond Cisneros
Client Specialist
Raymond graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2020 with a degree in Personal Finance and certificate in Entrepreneurship. During that summer, he worked as an intern at Northwestern Mutual where he helped establish financial plans and gained insurance industry experience. Shortly after, he started his first full time role at BMO Harris Bank as a Relationship Banker, where he worked to establish meaningful relations and offer tailored banking products/services that aligned with his customers goals.
Wanting to continue the path of helping people, but moving toward wealth management, Raymond joined the now HWH Group in December of 2021. His focus is both in Private Wealth Management and the team's Qualified Plans. He is fully licensed as of April 2023 and is currently studying to obtain his Certified Financial Planner designation which he hope to complete by early 2024.
Raymond grew up playing soccer and was part of UW's Club Soccer Team. He continues to play the beautiful game, along with volleyball, when he is not working. He is also involved in the community as a lifetime member of Psi Upsilon and enjoys helping UW's annual philanthropy show, Humorology.
